Questions people ask

What is SocialBoost?

SocialBoost is a South African marketplace where brands, musicians and businesses pay real influencers to promote them in their own posts on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X and Twitch. We verify the creators, hold the payment, and release it once the post is live.

Do you sell followers, likes or bot views?

No. We never sell followers, likes or bot views. Every promotion is a real post by a verified creator to their own audience, clearly marked as an ad. Fake engagement breaks platform rules and can get your account restricted, so we don't touch it.

How much does it cost?

Posting a campaign is free. Creators set their own price per post, and you choose who to hire. Creators receive 80% of each deal and SocialBoost keeps 20%. There are no subscriptions or hidden fees.

Can I choose which province or audience to reach?

Yes. Filter creators by province, platform and niche. A Durban restaurant can hire KwaZulu-Natal food creators, and a Joburg artist can reach Gauteng music fans.

What if the creator doesn't post, or the post is wrong?

Your money stays held until you approve the post. If it isn't what you agreed, ask for changes. If the creator never posts, the money returns to your campaign budget, and unused budget is refunded when you close the campaign.

How do creators get paid?

When a brand approves your post, or 7 days pass without a response, your 80% is added to the next weekly payout by EFT to a South African bank account or by PayPal.

Who can join as a creator?

Anyone 18 or older with a real, active audience on a supported platform. You'll verify that you own each account before taking paid work. Accounts with bought followers are removed.
